Tambov State University (full name: Tambov State University named after G. R. Derzhavin) is a public higher education and research institution located in Tambov, Russia. It is one of the major classical universities in the Central Chernozem (Central Black Earth) region, known for its broad range of academic programs and long academic tradition.
